After spectacular FFC 14 in Ljubljana last Friday, many fighters ended up in hospital. Not only the defeated ones, but also those who celebrated their victories. Denis “Chorchyp” Porcic and Luka Jelcic probably ended up worst. Despite the fact that they both knocked their opponents out, they sustained identical injury- forearm fracture.

While Chorchyp sustained his injury while blocking a middle kick, the Croatian fighter ended up with a fracture due to a punch. After returning to his hometown Zagreb, Luka was examined and diagnosed with forearm fracture. His arm will be immobilized for a month or so and then he is to return to the training regime. Unlike Chorchyp who had to undergo a surgery, Luka ended up only with a plaster.

Despite the injury, Luka Jelcic delivered one of the most brutal KO’s in the FFC ring so far. He defeated his opponent Elia Mandau via spectacular combination that ended with a high kick that knocked him out. Luka now has a score of six victories and only one defeat.
