Alessio Sakara had tough luck in his first appearance at the Final Fight Championship. At FFC 16 that took place in Vienna December 6 he fought Maciej Browarski. However, in the moment when he completely dominated his opponent, Sakara sustained a severe injury.

From the very beginning, Sakara started strong against the tough Polish fighter but in the fourth minute he suffered a left biceps string rupture. Upon his return to Italy, Sakara had to undergo a surgery and now he is on the path to recovery.

Alessio already returned to the gym while he will be able to fully use his arm in some six to seven weeks.
