Jurkovic: I broke my fist in training, but I think I didn’t disappoint anyone!

On Friday evening, at the FFC 3 event held in the Gripe venue in Split, Igor Jurkovic achieved a very valuable win in his career after an excellent battle against Romanian knockouter Raul Catinas.

The fight was outstanding, there is virtually no one who didn't enjoy it, and in a post-fight interview with Nova TV Jurkovic revealed an interesting piece of information. It appears that his fist had been broken during the preparations for the fight in  Split.

"Raul is a superb fighter. My plan was to work with my knees. I'd like to thank this wonderful crowd and this organization, both of who I didn't want to disappoint even though I broke my fist in training," Jurkovic said for Nova TV.

It remains to be seen when will Jurkovic have his next fight, his coach Leo Komsic is currently negotiating with several promoters, but it looks like we might expect him to be back in the ring very soon!
