John Palaiologos says he is dangerous addition to the FFC roster

FFC is to kick off its new season this month in Athens with six spectacular MMA matches as well as six matches in the kickboxing part of the event. The biggest sensation of this event will definitely be Robin van Roosmalen’s MMA debut since this famous kickboxer recently decided to try himself out in 6 oz. gloves.
The MMA part of the event will start at 10 PM with the match between two excellent Greek fighters – John Palaiologos and Alexandros Dimaras in welterweight division. This is also the only match with fellow countrymen in the opposite sides of the ring.
“Yes, we’re the only Greek MMA clash on the card. For me there is not additional pressure. It is what it is and, if it was a foreign fighter or not, I don’t have preferences unless is a fight worth fans come and watch,” revealed the Greek fighter.
Palaiologos has 7 wins and 4 losses under his belt and he also brushed his skills in King of the Cage. His preps for the match against Dimaras are going according to plan.
“The preparations are going perfect. I’m always training hard and I’m in shape so everything looks good.”
What does he know about Dimaras?
“I think my opponent is an ordinary MMA fighter without much experience and superskills, he is strong and patient fighter. I’m sure it’s gonna end via TKO or sub. My biggest advantage is my MMA skills, my experience and my passion for giving wars to the fans.”
After quite some time Palaiologos will fight in front of his hometown audience. The fact that FFC is a promotion recognized worldwide gives him extra motivation.
“Last year I fought multiple times for King of the Cage and actually I have a couple fights more to give there. FFC fight means to me a good fight at Sherdog cause is an international fight and I’m looking forward to fight in one of the most powerful and recognized promotion in Europe.”
“To tell you the truth, it feels great to fight after a long time in my hometown and show my fans the progress and hard work I put in. People should come for sure cause every time I put a show for all of them and I have spectacular relationship with the people.“
He did not study his division in the FFC in peculiar and he does not yet known who his real threat is. His first goal is to prove himself to the FFC leaders and to the audience. And he does not doubt it at all.
“I don’t know any fighter in -77 kg. John Palaiologos is a really dangerous guy at FFC right now,” said he Greek fighter and laughed.
FFC 22 is to take place February 19. The event will be headlined by Robin va Roosmalen in his MMA debut as well as Pavel Zhuravlev and Brian Douwes in the kickboxing part of the event. Watch FFC 22 LIVE on www.fightchanneltv.com.
