FFC interested in Norman Parke, his debut not confirmed

Los Angeles – Final Fight Championship® (FFC®) is negotiating a contract with British experienced athlete and former UFC fighter Norman ‘Strormin’ Parke (21-5). However, the rumors that have been cropping up around the Internet that Parke is to make his FFC® debut in September in Linz, Austria, against Vlado Šikić are not true.

FFC® President Orsat Zovko gave his official statement regarding that issue:

“It is true and I can confirm that FFC® is interested to sign Norman Parke. He is one of the former UFC fighters that we’d like to add to our roster in this year which is crucial for our promotion since we have some upcoming events in the US. However, it is absolutely not true that Norman Parke will have his debut against Vladimir Šikić in Linz this September. Actually, I’m not even sure whether we still want to cooperate with Parke after he published this information so hastily.“

“Vladimir Šikić could be Parke’s potential opponent just like any other FFC® fighter in his division. Parke asked for permission from out office in L. A. to publish this information about his FFC debut, but he did not get green light from us. Despite that, the news appeared in the European media and this is very unprofessional. I am sorry that happened,” Zovko concluded.

Final Fight Championship is busy working on its upcoming events in the US. The first one is to take place in Daytona Beach June 3, while FFC® 25 will be held only one week later in Springfield, MA. Excellent fight cards full of well-known and experienced fighters promise great shows.
