FFC 31 Night of Champions Weigh-In Results

Las Vegas, NV, (Oct. 11, 2018) – Final Fight Championship (FFC) Founder & CEO, Orsat Zovko, held the very first FFC weigh-in ceremony in Las Vegas, and did so, with an ear-to-ear smile and an excitability that was simply palpable. The man behind one of the fastest growing combat sports promotion companies in the world welcomed everyone to the official weigh-ins for “FFC 31 Night of Champions”, which takes place Friday, Oct. 12 (10:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. PST) at the all-new Fight Dome Las Vegas, located at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.

“I’m very excited that all of the years worth of preparation and planning has finally paid off and FFC is ready to launch here in Las Vegas”, said Zovko “We are looking forward to showcasing our quality product and brand to a nationwide audience live on CBS Sports Network.”

Doors open for “FFC 31 Night of Champions” at 5:30 pm (PST) and the event will broadcast live on CBS Sports Network starting at 7:00 pm (PST), 10:00 pm (EST). For more information visit www.finalfightchampionship.com or follow FFC on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook @FFCFighting.

“Cassius” Clay Collard (16-7-1) made weight at 151.8 lbs. for his FFC Lightweight Championship (MMA) bout with Dave “Insane” Courchaine.  However, his opponent Courchaine failed to make weight, tipping the scales at 178 lbs.  As a result, the Collard vs. Courchaine bout has been scratched from the “FFC 31 Night of Champions” fight card.

“I was extremely shocked that someone could miss the scales by almost 30 lbs.”, said Zovko “If you ask me, Courchaine’s FFC career ended even before it began and he will not get another chance in the FFC.”
