FFC 29 Ljubljana: Hrvoje Sep to make his professional boxing debut!

FFC 29 Ljubljana is to take place April 22 at Tivoli Hall, Ljubljana, Slovenia. However, this time the FFC decided to give fight fans an additional reason to stay tuned and watch this fighting spectacle live. Together with FFC standard format made of six MMA and six kickboxing bouts, this event will feature a big surprise!

For the second time in its history after FFC 16 in Vienna, FFC will feature a professional boxing match. Croatia’s Olympic boxer and winner of two bronze medals at European championships, Hrvoje Sep, is to fight in the FFC ring in Ljubljana at FFC 29 making his professional debut! His opponent will be Serbia’s Siniša Kondić in light heavyweight division (-79 kg).

Right after the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, Sep revealed his plans to become a pro boxer and fight fans impatiently waited for his professional debut. After a brilliant amateur career with two European championship medals and impressive season in semi-professional WSB league, Sep became one of Croatia’s best amateur boxers with brilliant future.

On the other hand, Kondić sucessfully combined his amateur career both in boxing and kickboxing and he turned professional in 2014. He scored all his wins via stoppage so far.

This professional six-round boxing match will take place between MMA and kickboxing events. MMA part of the show is to kick off at 8 PM CET, while kickboxing part of the program will start at 10 PM CET.
