The official FFC 26 weigh in took place this Thursday, September 22. FFC 26 Linz features six kickboxing and six MMA matches and is to take place tomorrow at 8 PM CET at TipsArena. The event was originally to feature three title bouts, but the heavyweight match with Brestovac and Garcia had to be postponed due to Garcia’s injury that happened last minute.

Most of the fighters met the scales with the exception of Eyevan Danenberg who was 800 grams too heavy and got an extra hour to meet the weight limit. Danenberg is to fight Shkodran “The Albanian Warrior” Veseli in the FFC inaugural welterweight title bout in kickboxing.

The most interesting part of the weigh in was the clash between two MMA heavyweights – Darko Stošić and Dion Staring. The Srebian fighter growled on the scales but it did not upset the experienced veteran Dion Staring who weighed 107,3 kg.
