FFC 25: Stošić and Zhuravlev score new KO wins, Mafra and Marjanović go to decisions

FFC 25 Springfield turned out to be even better and more spectacular than its predecessor in Daytona Beach. There were numerous stoppages and the most spectacular one were the ones delivered by Darko Stošić and Pavel Zhuravlev.

Stošić was not discouraged by the fact that his opponent was changed last minute and he showed Manny Murillo everything he prepared for Dion Staring. Murillo could not put up with his opponent until the end of the first round and Stošić went right through him.

When it comes to the kickboxing part of the event, Bejnamin Fuimaono’s destiny was no different at all and it was obvious he cannot handle the FFC champ Pavel Zhuravlev. It was all over in a bit more than two minutes when Zhuravlev finished his job with a powerful combination.

In the main event of the MMA part of the show, David Mitchel defeated Dervin Lopez, but the most interesting fight was the one between two former UFC fighters. In the end Leonardo Mafra defeated Anthony Njokuani via unanimous decision. Denis Marjanović also won via decision after a tight match with Youssuf Saidi.
