FFC 27 Nights of Champions fight card scheduled for this Saturday, December 17 at the Zagreb Arena, has a new change when it comes to kickboxing part of the event. The only match at this event dedicated to FFC champions that was not a title bout was the one between Jasmin Bajrović and Ivan Bilić. The two were supposed to fight for the no. 1 contender spot and the winner of the match would face champion Eyevan Dannenberg. Unfortunately, in one of his last sparring sessions ahead of the match, Jasmin Bajrović sustained an injury and will be force to rest for a couple of weeks.

FFC quickly replaced Bajrović and Ivan Bilić is now to fight Georgia’s Giorgi Bazanov. This fighter is usually fighting in -70 but he readily stepped up and seized the opportunity. 24-year-old Bazanov already had 30 wins, 8 losses and he will be quite a challenge for Croatia’s Ivan Bilić. This will also be his FFC debut.
