We reveal Final Fight 3 winners’ opinions!

Martial arts fans are virtually unanimous in the opinion that Final Fight Championship 3 met all expectations last Friday in Split. The top quality production and excellent fights provided lots of excitement for viewers, while a number of fighters had something to cheer about on the evening as they recorded new career-boosting wins.
We have contacted some of those fighters for their brief comments on how they did in Dalmatia's capital.

Ante Delija: "I'm happy with my performance, I hadn't fought in three months and I needed a fight to happen as soon as possible. I didn't want to risk too much against Laprakis, the plan was very simple – pull him down and finish the fight on the ground. I was much stronger physically and he had no chance against me."

Zlatko Bajic: "The most important thing is that I won at such a big event, but it still doesn't mean I'm completely satisfied with my performance. I could have won by KO in round two, he was almost finished, but I wasn't able to take this great chance and that's the reason why I'm a bit unhappy. I could have done better in this fight, but the most important thing is I won and now I should keep doing that."

Tomislav Spahovic: "The fight was great, many had thought Golcic was the favorite against me and no one had even dreamed of this outcome and me beating him at what he's good at, in a stand-up fight. Everyone had expected I'd look for my chance on the ground because of his height and skill, I was underestimated a lot, and I like to prove people wrong. I'd already announced that I've become better in all segments of fighting and now I consider myself a complete fighter. At one moment, Golcic thought I was going to try and pull him down, so he put his right arm down and left me some space to hit him, which I took advantage of immediately. 2013 will be my year and I have a lot more to show in the following fights and in the future."

Matej Batinic: "The fight started as I'd hoped for considering I didn't have time to go through any special preparations for Radnic because I'd found out about the fight two weeks before the event with other worries in my head related to the MMA league. I'm extremely pleased. I took the fight to the ground right away, not because I'm worse at stand-up, but because Radnic is not that good on the ground and like any experienced fighter I took advantage of the opponent's weaknesses. The fight ended sooner than I'd hoped for, and that's just a result of my serious approach to this match and this organization, which I hope to work with again. I'd like to thank my coach Bernard Ban and most of all my sparring partners Bruno Škudar and Antonio Mijatovic."
