Q: What are your thoughts on facing Dennis Morris Oct. 12?

A. “I am very excited to fight Dennis and look forward to his style. He is a warrior and I respect him and anyone that has the heart to get in between those ropes. He is a tough guy that likes to fight and come forward. I look to take his strengths and use that against him. I will stay focused on my jab and dictate what I want when i want it no matter what he does. I look forward to a very rough fight and nothing less then that. Anyone who thinks that at this level it’s easy, there crazy lol. With that being said, I will win and continue moving forward with my career in the top ten.”

Q: What do you hope to accomplish as a result of this fight?

A: “Winning at this stage is very big for me because of what it does financially and more importantly where it takes me in the world of boxing. No matter what I do this fight, I’ll continue chasing my dream of becoming a champion with a bunch of organizations.”

Q: When you think about championship fights in Las Vegas, what is the first thing that comes to mind, and why?”

A: “Man this is a tough one. So many great wars here and so many great fighters fight here in Vegas. It’s the Mecca of boxing and it’s something that makes me happy about and proud. With that being said, I’ll appreciate it down the road more I’m sure . For now, I’ll just focus on each day up until the fight and focus on getting the victory. It means a small part of my dream in the sport of boxing…. But it’s only a small part. I can’t wait to win this title and continue working toward bigger and better things.”
