Sensation: Bad boy Paul "Semtex" Daley signs for FFC!

The Final Fight Championship promotion is proud to announce that the former UFC contender in the welterweight division, Paul "Semtex" Daley, is a new member of the Final Fight roster.

The fighter from London with almost 70 pro fights behind him has signed a three-fight contract with the popular European promotion. Daley is expected to make his debut in the first quarter of 2014. Daley will compete in kickboxing fights, but the two parties don't rule out the option to expand the contract to cover MMA fights as well.
FFC president Orsat Zovko has commented on his latest acquisition:

"After Cro Cop, Ricco Rodriguez, Eddie Sanchez and James McSweeney, we have signed another super star who fought in the UFC. Next year you will witness the expansion of the FFC to other European markets, but also to the countries of the Middle East, therefore we have many plans for Daley. At this point we are negotiating with two other big MMA stars and if that goes well, I believe we'll be on the right track for the next FFC season," Zovko said, adding:

"Paul Daley is a very talented fighter who would have made an even better career if it weren't for some issues with his character. But we've had a very honest and good relationship right from the start, so I think there won't be any problems. The FFC will do its best at this point to get Daley's career back on the right track, and I believe that Final Fight will be his springboard for the return where he definitely belongs – in one of the very top global promotions."
Paul Daley himself also commented on his signature:
"I'm very excited because signing for the FFC is the rebirth of my career, and I'm sure I'll give some very exciting kickboxing fights. I'm also sure that during these 12 months my relationship with the FFC will grow and that you'll see me in MMA fights as well in the same promotion," Daley said.

More details on one of the biggest FFC acquisitions to date will follow soon.
