Sasa Milinkovic is definitely one of the Croatian heavyweights with the biggest prospect in MMA. However, we have not seen him in the ring for a while after a brutal knockout byRuben Wolf.

The German fighter knocked out Milinkovic by soccer kick and Milinkovic was aware he would need a longer break after that. Now he is hoping for a new match in the beginning of the next year.

“That defeat in Zadar really looked bad. I entered the bout carried by my previous success, but this put me back to earth. I also had some health issues before the match and now I'm sure there are mistakes I simply cannot repeat in a match again. According to the FFC regulations, a certain time has to pass before I can re-enter the ring, while I hope it might happen sometime in the spring, “ said Sasa to Glas Slavonije.

Of course, Milinkovic looked back at his cooperation with Croatia's best fighter, Mirko Filipovic.

“Cro Cop is at least two levels above anybody else. No just in the ring, but in general. He was very cool, he showed he's a big man outside the gym as well, he helped me in numerous aspects, all I had to do was come to Zagreb. I am grateful for everything he did for me, training with him was a tremendous experience, precious for every fighter“, added the fighter from Osijek.
