Today’s “KO of the day” is the one landed by the first FFC champion, Samo Petje who KO’ed favored Teo Mikelic via high kick in the first round at FFC 14 Ljubljana. It took four minutes for Zelg Galesic’s student to get back to his feet after the fatal blow

The match started fiercely right from the beginning and ended with the attractive KO which also shocked the audience that, after the initial euphoria, remained dead silent waiting for Mikelic to get up. The excellent Slovenian fighter made a move that was hard to respond to.

Samo is to defend the title at FFC 18 Ljubljana against dangerous Rosario Presti. The match will be especially interesting since Presti is the only fighter who managed to defeat Samo during last two years.
