FFC pushes the date of the Sarajevo event

The FFC was forced to push forward the date of its event in Sarajevo from the initial September 6 to September 13. However, the new date for the event where BH Machine Dzevad Poturak will say goodbye to professional sport is October 4.

The reason for rescheduling has been explained to us in a brief interview by the owner and president of the organization, Orsat Zovko.

"Unfortunately, we had to change the date twice already. The first one wasn't good for us because of the football match played by the Bosnia and Herzegovina team on that day. It's a very important qualifying match against Slovakia, so it didn't make sense to do a fighting event on the same day," Zovko explained, adding:

"It was only yesterday that I had a meeting with the management of Zetra [venue] and their calendar is so busy that the first realistic date for FFC is October 4. Judging by everything, this is the date on which you'll be able to see our show."

Considering that an event in Pula was supposed to be held in the meantime as well, this raises the question whether this event will be rescheduled too or remain set at September 27. Zovko is unwilling to rush any conclusions.

"We would very much like to organize an event in Pula, but, like I said, there are some realistic obstacles due to the specific nature of the Arena itself. I'll have all the necessary information these days, which also means an answer to your question," Final Fight boss concluded.
