FFC 36: Chub & Ambang Hit Their Mark in Middleweight Title Clash!

The FFC Kickboxing Middleweight Title is up for grabs on Thursday night, as reigning Ukrainian champion Mykyta Chub takes on former welterweight challenger Francois Ambang.

The champion weighed in at 186.4lbs for his defence at 187lbs, whilst Ambang weighed slightly heavier at 186.8lbs after his move up from welterweight. Chub will be hoping that he can continue his dominance of the middleweight division by defeating his latest challenger to the throne.

The mouth-watering co-main event between Soslan Abanokov and Journey Newson goes ahead, despite the latter failing to hit the bantamweight limit. Abanokov made his mark, whilst Newson endured a tough cut and failed to make weight in two attempts.

Zach Juusola and Tristan Connelly both weighed in at 159.4lbs for their catchweight bout, with the Canadian hitting his mark despite being a short notice replacement. Juusola and Connelly have been vocal in their attempts to disrupt each other pre-fight, but the talking stops and the action begins at the Fight Dome on Thursday night!

Locals Ray Ostrander and Jordan Leavitt both made their mark in their all-Vegas featherweight bout, whilst David Steineke and Robert Trujillo both make weight in their professional debuts.
