At the FFC 30 weigh-ins, all 26 fighters taking part in Saturday’s fights hit the scale and all but two fighters made weight without issue.
FFC 30 takes place this Saturday at TipsArena Linz, and the entire card will be broadcasted LIVE on Fight Channel World HD with livestream on www.fightchanneltv.com. Today’s official weigh-in proceedings took place at the host hotel.
MMA heavyweight headliners Satoshi Ishii and Bjorn Schmiederberg weighed 105,2 kg and 117, 5 kg respectively, while Filip Pejić and Fabiano Silva who fight in the co-main title bout made the featherweight limit of 66 kg, with half a kilo allowance.
Meanwhile, Eduard Chelariu who fights FFC champ Samo Petje in a non-title super fight fell short of his targeted weight and was given one hour to lose extra 0,7 kg as well as kickboxer Benjamin Masoudi who has one hour to lose 3 kg. Nevertheless, the bouts will go as scheduled.
Magamed Batirov did not make it to the scales and will be weighed later during the day.
