Robin Van Roosmalen sustained a knee injury and he will not be able to fight at FFC 26 in Linz September 23.
The Dutch fighter was supposed to fight in the main event of the MMA part of the evening against Hungary’s Zoltan Turai. Van Roosmalen made his MMA debut this year in Greece at FFC. He defeated Athinodoros Michailidis and kicked off his MMA career with an impressive win.
However, Van Roosmalen sustained a knee injury while preparing for the upcoming match and according to his team, he will not be able to fight for another four to six weeks in case he would not be forced to undergo a surgery.
The MMA part of the FF 26 in Linz will now be headlined by Dion Staring and Darko Stošić who will fight for the heavyweight title.
