FFC 26 MMA: Burušić to step up instead of Blažičević!

FFC is about to launch its new season with spectacular event in Linz, Austria. The event is only three weeks away and there were already slight changes in the fight card.

Croatian ATT team member Matija Blažičević had to cancel the match with Russia’s Arbi Mezdihov (62-2) in -66kg. Blažičević did his last match at FFC in Zagreb, Croatia and has problems with an old injury that will keep him out of the cage and trainings for a couple of weeks.

FFC match-makers already found his replacement – Marko Burušić. This MMA League champ already once fought in the FFC last year when he was defeated by Hungary’s Adam Borics via unanimous decision. His current score is 8 wins and 4 losses, while in Linz he will do his best to score a victory that would secure him future fights in this biggest regional fighting sports promotion.

FFC 26 Linz take place September 23 and it will be headlined by Robin van Roosmalen in the MMA part of the event while Eyevan Danenberg and Shkodran Veseli are to fight for the welterweight title in the main kickboxing event.
