FFC 21 Rijeka: Three title bouts, best fight card so far!

After an excellent event in Zagreb, the FFC leaders announced the last event this year was going to take place November 27 in Rijeka, Croatia.

This Monday Final Fight Championship revealed the full FFC 21 fight card. Just a glance at the names clearly states that it will be one the most interesting FFC events so far. Three title matches and loads of bouts between best fighters guarantee an unforgettable evening.

MMA program will be headlined by the FFC heavyweight champion Dion Staring. He will oppose well- known German/Greek fighter Andreas “Big Daddy” Kraniotakes. It will be his first title defense after he outclassed Ricco Rodriguez a year ago.

Spahovic and Prachnio in the fight for the first -93kg division belt

The audience from the region, especially from Bosnia and Herzegovina, will definitely be the most interested in the light heavyweight title bout with Bosnia’s Tomislav “The Beast” Spahovic and Holland’s Golden Glory boy Marchin Prachnio. Spahovic is still undefeated in the FFC with four consecutive impressive victories which definitely made him the No1 title fight candidate. Poland’s Marchin Prachnio also stood out after his defeat over Matej Batinic and his prior KO’es of Bekavac and Mikulic.

FFC 21 also brings the bout of the best FFC featherweight fighters – Slobodan Maksimovic and Lemmy Krusic with an intriguing welterweight category match between Bulgaria’s Vladislav Kanchev and Serbian Dusan Dzakic.

Kujundzic and  Munoz headline the MMA part of the event, Petje defends his belt

The kickboxing part of the event will be headlined by light heavyweight Mladen Kujundzic who is to fight in front of his hometown audience and Spain’s Frank Munoz. However, the most interesting match will definitely be the title match between Samo Petje and Tigran Movsisyan. In the last three years the FFC champ skyrocketed among the top class of the European kickboxers in -70kg category. On the other hand, Tigran Movsisyan became the No 1 contender after three impressive victories in the FFC ring. His latest impressive KO against Glory’s Teo Mikelic secured him this title shot.

Fabjan vs. Emkic

The FFC 21 Rijeka also features a match between Slovenia’s experienced kickboxer Miran Fabjan and Bosnia’s Igor Emkic. Both fighters have vast experience in the FFC with some brilliant moments as well as disastrous performances. However, they never delivered a bad show and it was only a matter of time when they would meet in the opposite corners of the ring.

Other fighters who definitely deserve to be mentioned are Denis Chorchyp (FFC 2-1) and Stevan Zivkovic who impressed the audience in Linz and therefore deserved one more match very soon.

FFC 21 will take place in Sports Hall Zamet in Rijeka, Croatia, November 27, at 7.30 PM.  Live PPV stream available at www.fightchanneltv.com.
