At FFC 25 event Darko Stošić presented himself to American audience in the best possible way defeating Manny Murillo via technical knockout in the first round.

In Springfield, Massachusetts, this Serbian heavyweight scored eighth victory in his career, fourth in the FFC-in, making his new professional record 8-1. For its second event in the United States, FFC officials planned to give Stošić a title shot against Dion Staring. However, the Dutch fighter had to cancel the match due to an injury and he was replaced by Manny Murillo.

But this “frustration” with the new opponent Stošić quickly resolved and defeated Murillo. Already at the end of the first minute Stošić landed a powerful punch on Murillo who fell on the ground and then Stošić continued with fierce punches until referee Herb Dean stopped the match.
