Francisco Croata Barrio revealed last Saturday evening on his Facebook fan page his great wish, which is to participate in the Final Fight Championship.
The Argentinian fighter who'd spent a large part of his childhood in Croatia is among those who've noticed that the FFC is growing fast and that it has taken only a few events for the FFC to become an exceptionally relevant organization.
"This year I want a fight in the Final Fight Championship. I don't know how to make organizers hear about me so I have to write here. I've seen that Antun Racic, the Montenegrin Vaso Bakocevic and Slovenian Lemmy Krusic are fighting in the under-66 kg weight class. They may have more fights than I do, but none of those three is better at wrestling and jiu-jitsu than me and I think they can't beat me. More people will pay the ticket in Croatia to watch me than them. I have nothing against them, but to be the best in the region you have to beat the best fighters, and I'm a Croat and they should give me the chance to fight at FFC in my homeland. I hope the organizers will read this and give me a chance to fight this year. Like I said, I may not have twenty fights like them, but they don't have my wrestling and jiu-jitsu," Croata wrote.
In his MMA career, Francisco has had three fights to date and won all three, backed up by a wealth of wrestling experience.
