Bekavac: I would love to fight Sakara!

One of Europe's top combat sports promotion is to get a very big boost this week with Alessio Sakara who is to sign the contract with FFC this week.

Former UFC fighter and one of the best Italian MMA fighters is to fight with some of the FFC fighters by the end of this year and there is already one big Croatian name who showed interest in the match.

Stipe Bekavac is Opatia Fight Club's fighter who scored an excellent victory in his last match by knocking out another former UFC fighter, Eddie Sanchez.

„I watched some Sakara's matches and I'm familiar with his style. I did not follow his entire career, but I know his strengths and weaknesses“, said Bekavac on Sakara's nine years in the UFC.

On social networks many MMA fans already suggested Stipe Bekavac as Sakara's potential opponent who could welcome him to the FFC and it seems Stipe has nothing against that idea…

„I am definitely glad people recognized my as one of the hardest opponents for Sakara, but that is something I have to justify in the match. Of course I would accept a match with him, I would love to fight him and I hope it would be interesting for the audience as well“, said Stipe about the potential match with Sakara.

„I am training all the time. I just train more when I prepare for the match. I am always keeping the level at which I am ready to enter the ring in a very short period of time, but I also have time to enjoy summer. I got a really interesting match offer this month and I hope I will know where I stand on that soon, but nevertheless, I can't wait for the next match“, added Bekavac on his current plans.
